ATREVIA has opened a brand new office at the Argentinean capital, extending its global presence up to 16 countries in total around the world. With the addition of Argentina, the consultancy presided by Núria Vilanova is now operating actively in six major Latin American markets, since it’s already present in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Chile. The new office in Buenos Aires will be headed by Marina Elizabeth Giménez, an expert in the corporate communication world with a long professional track record with the support of Pedro Miguel Casado as the General Development Director of ATREVIA.
The consultancy is starting its journey in the third biggest economy of Latin America, a country in a vibrant process of transformation and economic change after latest reforms introduced by President Mauricio Macri. Argentina is, in this sense, one of the benchmarking countries of the Southern Common Market (Mercosur), a commercial bloc which is expected to reach in this 2017 a free-trade agreement with the European Union. The country possess abundant natural resources in agriculture and energy, is a leader in food production with a large-scale industry and offers great opportunities in practically every sector of the economy, starting from infrastructure to manufacturing and services, especially in high-tech innovation.
“The importance of Latin America to Spain as well as Spain and Europe to Latin America in a moment when investment flows and commercial exchanges are getting much more bilateral than ever is indisputable” says the ATREVIA president, Núria Vilanova, for whom the entering of Argentina “supposes a strong prod to the company’s internationalization process”. That´s why the consultancy will continue to bet on its reinforced positioning in LATAM, as it already have footholds in Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
To this effect, the firm has gained a professional expert team of more than 325 professionals in different field of communication, from corporate to brand and internal issues, as well as other specialized services such as communication within family-owned businesses. 28 years of experience backed by its work with approximately 500 leading firms and its commitment of collaboration with major business schools in the Spanish speaking world.
