The Zarzuela Hippodrome of Madrid hosted the 11th National Marketing Awards organized by the Marketing Association of Spain. More than one thousand professionals from the Marketing world attended a gala where the best strategies and experts in the marketing sector were honored with a special focus in this year on innovation and results.
ATREVIA took part for the second consecutive year, but this time, taking charge of the event’s technical secretary from its Marketing Department. Begoña Barron, ATREVIA’s Marketing Director, and Luna Silvestro were responsable for encouraging participation, detecting those most successful cases of the marketing world, collaborating actively during the candidature creating and managing the classification process. For the voting it was also needed to compose a jury which fit the high quality standards and high case submission volume.
With the participation of high ranked executives of big firms such as CESPA, BMW Spain, Rodilla Group and MasterCard among others, expectations of the event were far beyond fulfilled. Begoña Barron acted as the secretary and Isabel Lara, vice-president of ATREVIA, represented the consultancy in this jury composed by 24 professionals.
For another consecutive year, the prizes had its Latino characteristic with a LATAM Internationalization Category in which, for the first time ever, apart from acknowledging a Spanish company for the strategy development of success in Latin America, a local company was also acknowledged by its marketing work. In order to evaluate the more than 200 received biddings, ATREVIA, has also consolidated a jury which is expert in the Latin American markets and that represents the territory’s diversity.
At the end, the lucky ones this year were Decathlon, Bruguer, Juegaterapia, Pompeii, Opticalia and Viña Cono Sur from Chile. Alfonso Fernández, marketing director of Samsung Electronics in Spain was awarded with the prize to the Best Marketing Professional of the Year and Juan de Antonio Rubio, CEO and Founder of Cabify, prized as the leading enterprise promoter of Marketing. The most expected acknowledgement of the night, the National Marketing prize was taken by the digital business school ISDI.
