ATREVIA won the EJE&CON award for its development and promotion work of female talent. The 1st edition of the EJE&CON Awards for #talentoSINgenero (talent without gender), lead by the Asociación Española de Ejecutivas y Consejeras (Spanish Association of Female Executives and Advisers) (EJE&CON) has acknowledged ATREVIA in the SMB category as an entity that promotes female talent through inclusive policies and diversity.
The jury, composed by recognised professionals in the sector, has awarded ATREVIA as an entity that promotes the talent without gender “based on their example and work in favour of talent as a changing engine”. Asun Soriano, ATREVIA Spain president, was in charge of receiving the award from BROS CEO, Antonio Sagardoy. In this sense, Asun Soriano has highlighted: “At ATREVIA we invest in parity and equal opportunities for all of our employees and manager positions, without distinction. The commitment with women’s empowerment and their promotion to manager positions is in our DNA: 75% of the staff and 70% of the manager positions in ATREVIA are women. Engaged with parity, we have incorporated the commitment to promoting a greater diversity from all angles as an indicator in our 2016-2018 strategic plan, maximizing the incorporation of more men in our directive committee. This award is the recognition of our commitment to diversity and the conviction that diversity does create value”.
The 1st edition of the EJE&CON Awards has been closed by the Health, Social Services and Equality Minister, Dolors Montserrat, whom has shown her support and commitment to gender diversity. Besides ATREVIA, among the winners were also companies like PWC, ESADE business school, Capital Humano magazine or scientist Margarita Salas. This first edition of the awards had 58 applications presented in the different categories, which reveals an excellent reception in the business and institutional world.
Likewise, EJE&CON Award Ceremony was hosted by the journalist Andrea Ropero and had Nerea Torres’ intervention, EJE&CON’s president, who highlighted that these awards “intend to be catalysts to modify the trend of lack of women in direction and administration boards.
