“Communication is an essential element to articulate an appropiate business plan for the family bussinesses”, said the founder and president of ATREVIA, Núria Vilanova, during his speech at the headquarters of the Association of Industries of the Dominican Republic (AIRD) on July 31st. Under the title Business families: communication and values to achieve engagement and avoid problems, Vilanova has shared some of the best solutions that have made family businesses succesful.
As explained by the president of ATREVIA, family businesses “are basic pillars of the economy of any country” due to their greater commitment to the environment, its long-term business vocation and the solid values and principles in which they settle their activity. Family businesses “have an unique social structure, with particular values, with different challenges and opportunities to other organizations,” Vilanova said at his conference in this Dominican business fórum.
