Companies and organizations are transformed by the arrival of Generation Z
Ms. Vilanova contributed as a speaker at the first day of The NY Summit 2017, where she spoke about the need for organizations and companies to adapt to the new demands of Generation Z; young people who are currently between the ages of 14 and 23 years old.
“Generation Z is that of the five ’I’s: Internet, immediacy, innovation, irreverence, inquietude“, assured Ms. Vilanova. This character of immediacy of their needs and demands is something that’s embedded in this generation, their patterns of consumption are rather impulsive and of momentary use.
The president of ATREVIA also participated in a round table on the topic of female leadership, along with Yanire Braña, Jazlyn Carvajal and Pilar Jericó. The women all agreed on the importance of networking and collaboration among women to ensure progress. “The world would change if one woman would do something for another woman. Men have been working with this mindset” MS. Vilanova noted.
