The 1st Ibero-American Congress of Company Presidents and Family Owned Businesses organized by the Alliance for Ibero-American Business Council (CEAPI in Spanish) with collaboration from ATREVIA, has concluded this thursday, September 28th.
During three days, Madrid has held more than 450 Spanish and Latin American businessmen in a referential meeting in which future challenges and synergies were analyzed, and focuses of investment and development in Spain and Latin America were addressed.
The need of a bigger integration of the Latin American region, such as itself in the world and the key role of the private sector as the engine of such a process; the greater urgency of incorporating bigger prominence to the youth though all the sector and process and of impel the social economic role of the women; the importance of developing wider policies of Corporate social responsibility (CSR) and of a new commitment of the enterprise with society have been some of the key messages of a congress that has underscored a great leitmotiv: Iberian America, better and bigger united.
“We the businessmen of Ibero-America want to be together. And we need to rely even more on the younger generation to build a solid future” says Núria Vilanova, the president of ATREVIA and of CEAPI, at her speech to the Congress closing ceremony.
